I removed the dos partition from my hard drive and installed my dos applications on the Xenix file system. SCO recommends you install your dos applications on the XENIX file system. Installing the applications works just fine- it's RUNNING them that gives you no end of trubble! example: pfs:First Choice- Works just fine in VP/ix when it's installed on a dos partition. But, when it's on the xenix partition you cannot re-store any files. If you get an existing file edit it and then save your work you get a file access error and the file is GONE! I've checked the file permissions and THAT'S NOT THE PROBLEM. If anyone from SCO is listening- don't recomend something that doesn't work... --------- thanks, Jeff (Spectra Software) Harrell
