This is a request for a friend. He handles a couple of acer 386 boxes (sco xenix), with a stargate for terminals. There also exist several pc's (ms-dos). He is moving to a two story bldg (not yet built). The 386s may end up on separate floors, as will the pc's, terminals, and printers. Other sources suggest they do not prewire the building, but use troughs, etc for flexibility. They have no network at the moment and would like recommendations on which way to proceed. I haven't mentioned any particular way to go (yet). So, if you have some info you would like to share, regarding tcp/ip/ether, novell, banyon, etc. please email to me.
