This is my first posting so please let me know if I am doing something wrong. I was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience using a XENIX 386 system and EGA monitor to do bit mapped graphics. I am developing a program that will display (real-time) ECG wave-forms from multiple patients simultaneously. I have tried using the CGI (Computer Graphics Interface) package and that is too slow. I have dabbled in using ioctls but I couldn't get a single pixel lit up when I tried to address the memory directly through the EGA ports like I did successfully on my MSDOS machine. I am willing to pay anything for a commercial package if it will help or if someone has any pointers to any code that writes a pixel or two directly to EGA memory, I would be much obliged. Any help proffered is greatly appreciated. -David Beccue Cygnus Microsystems Inc.
