I've had this problem getting UUCP (actually uucico) to work between our Dell 310 (386 clone) running SCO Xenix 2.3.1 and our AT+T 3B2-700 running Unix System V rel. 3. I get an abort and the thing dumps core whenever I try to queue up multiple files for transmit (either by using a wildcard in my uucp command or by actually using multiple uucp commands for single files). SCO support says they've got a bug and that they can't give a date (or even a target, or a ballpark figure) for when it'll be fixed. Furthermore, this problem only affects a small subset of their users, and they don't know why. Has anyone else on USENET experienced this problem, and has anyone developed a workaround? I've got the Phoenix Bios, and am using a direct connect through the COM2 serial port. I'd appreciate any tips, source code patches, etc. anyone has to offer. My current workaround plan is to either try to use CU (if I can figure out how to drive it with a program) or rig something where I've never got more than one file in the uucp queue at a time. Thanks for any help. This is my first posting to USENET, so please go easy on me if I've broken any Net rules (yes, I've read the newuser files). Ken McKinney National Instruments Austin, Texas
