[comp.unix.xenix] anyone using 'powerports' multiport card from consensys ?

blume@netmbx.UUCP (Heiko Blume) (03/16/89)

lately i dug through the sco directory and discovered what is the best multiport
card i've seen yet. it's called powerports (tm) and comes from consensys corp.
if anyone has it/experience please tell me how it works. i'll list the features
for those who wonder: it uses a ns32000 cpu with 512k of dual-ported ram to
manage up to 16 tty lines, speeds up to 38.4 Kbps, 4 virtual terminals on each
line, full modem control lines. options include daughter-cards for x.25 or sna.
of course i want those 4 virtual terminals on my tty lines....
