In the past 2 issues of MIPS magazine (April/May) there is an advertisement for "... new SP-ARC1, a single coprocessor that brings the power of SPARC processing to any IBM compatible PC. That means 15 MIPS performance at 25 Mhz, 8 MB RAM, and SPARC code on your PC." "MIPS" also supposedly reviewed it in March or February. Got a back issue? Anyone tried it? The ad mentions that Sun-4's use SPARC technology, but it doesn't say that this board, etc. is licensed from Sun, or anything to that effect. What would this thing be able to run? Really quick DOS :-) ? I believe it plugs into an AT bus. Followups to comp.sys.ibm.pc where you just *have to* use the "=" button. -- Doug Eastick eastick@me.UTORONTO.BITNET UUCP: ...!utai!me!eastick eastick@me.utoronto.ca
