Version 7.42 of XBBS is now available for downloading. This version has a complete rewrite of the blocking/formatting algortihm used to block/format text. It now seems to be compatible with the major Word Processing software available commercially. Since I now have the majority of the subroutines available to write a REAL word processor, expect to see, in the near future, a public domain word processor from me. Is it available anywhere through anonymous ftp? I surely wouldn't want to make a long-distance call to download a program of any considerable size. Oh, and more importantly: What, exactly, is it? What machine(s) does it run on? What features does it sport? Where can I find these details? Were they posted here already, did I miss them? -- | Brian S.
