In using the old (Version 7 derived) uucico supplied with SCO Xenix 386ps, 2.2.3, we experience the following problem when another system initiates the uucp connection as MASTER (they call us) at 2400 baud. The traffic from the other system to this system is handled fine. Then, their uucico sends 'H', signifying that they are finished. The error logs here report that our uucico sent 'HN', signifying that there is outbound traffic here, but the other system reports a bad read (\b instead of the 'H') and hangs up the connection (SIGNAL 1). We have no problems if we initiate the connection (we call the other system), and no problems when the connection is at 1200 baud. There are no problems if they call us when there is no outbound traffic for them waiting here. The problem has come up with two different systems calling this one, both using Trailblazer Plus modems. We use a Ventel 24/2 modem. I would very much appreciate any suggestions or fixes.
