RTFM as I may, I haven't been able to discover how to obtain the current foreground and background normal and reverse colors from the video driver. setcolor(1) is able to do this somehow, since it goes through its genre and when your shell prompt comes back, the colors have been reset to those before executing the program. There seems to be an ioctl for everything else. Maybe there is a page missing from my manual :-). Anybody got a clue? I suspect there are a lot of people who know the answer, so please mail and I'' post the answer.
