[comp.unix.xenix] problem installin xenix on a 386 with vega card

blume@netmbx.UUCP (Heiko Blume) (08/19/89)

i recently tried to install sco 386GT on a compaq 386/25 with 300mb esdi
disk and a video 7 vega card. it seemed to work ok first, i got the boot
prompt and the kernel loaded, but when it started its output of copyright
stuff the screen switched to snow-mode...
anyone encountered this too ?!
