After installing an upgrade from 2.2.3 to 2.3.2 for our ps2/80 -- which I ordered because the Sales Department at SCO promised "full VGA support" -- I discover that the VGA driver in the Microchannel version of 2.3.2 does not recognize the IBM VGA as a "graphics device". Among the programs which will not work: vidi, setcolor, all CGI display drivers, SCO Pro graphics drivers. SCO is aware of the problem and is "looking into" a solution. I'd like to say that at least the HoneyDanBer UUCP works, but it came with a broken uusched which crashes with either a memory fault or segmentation violation. So, if anyone is contemplating an upgrade for a Microchannel machine to Xenix version 2.3.2, I would suggest waiting until the bugs are out. -- Ronald Florence ...{hsi,rayssd}!mlfarm!ron
