At the office I use elm on a 386 and a Tower 32/400. At home I am running a lowly 286 and I find porting elm a nightmare and a half. Has anyone done it? If yes, please E-mail your patches... Thanks,

With one exception, which is documented (complete with a patch), in the README file distributed with the elm source, elm compiles just fine on Microport System V/AT on a '286. You must use large memory model, though. There's also some instructions on getting it to compile under Xenix '286. Aside from this, I, too, would like help compiling elm on VentureCOM's Venix [tm], version 2.2, which does not support large memory model and has problems with long indentifiers. -- UUCP: uunet!anagld!aplcen!fallst!tkevans INTERNET: tkevans%fallst.UUCP@aplcen.apl.jhu.edu OTHER: ...!attmail!fallst!tkevans Tim Evans 2201 Brookhaven Court, Fallston, MD 21047 (301) 965-3286
