I am running Xenix 2.2.3 on a 386 and HDB uucp. I have created a file system to hold my news so I mounted /usr/spool/news as the file system. Shouldn't be anything wrong with that, right? Anyway, I am having difficulties getting relaynews to function properly. I can Pnews an article, and it does get where it should go, but I get the following error messages: relaynews: Disk filled when writing /usr/lib/news/history (Not a character device) relaynews: can't open batch file /usr/lib/news/batch/b.dciem/togo (No such file or directory) /usr/lib/news/inews: failed news in /tmp/in10311in; inews status 48 I understand the togo error. I don't have such a beast, yet I was posting to general when I got these errors, so why would it attempt to batch my article to a remote site anyway? I do not have disk space problems either. Lots of room left. If anyone could hypothesize on this little information and give me some ideas on where to look, I'd appreciate it. If you post, please send me a copy through e-mail.
