After trying to get COMs 3 & 4 operational, with no success
on COM4, I gave up and ordered an Arnet Twinport board. Not
being familiar with Arnet, I took the salesman at his word
that the board would configure as COM 3... WRONG!!!! I have
spent all weekend relinking my system under various
configerations trying to get the Arnet board, and my dual
comm card (COM 1 & 2) to work together so that I effectively
have 4 comm ports. Can't really afford to buy a 4 user
card, as we're on a tight budget.
Question is:
Has anyone out there ever tried this, and if so what did
you have to do to get it working? (modifing files, making
devices, etc?) Oh yeah, Arnet can't help... I've already
talked to them.
