From: Chris Torek <chris@MARYLAND.ARPA> Can't say I've ever seen that, but if iostat shows lots of I/O it's probably that the entire device (DH, DZ, DMF, whatever) has gone bonkers. (We seem to have one line on each device break about once a year, but we've never had a whole DH die.) Chris
