[comp.unix.xenix] Some input on TeX LaTex on SCO needed

satam@ecs.umass.edu (11/13/89)

I am looking for having TeX LaTeX on a SCO XENIX based 386.
Does anybody know whether SCO provides the same or any outside
vendor can provide TeX support on SCO XENIX?
Is it possible to get the source from a public domain s/w and
the compiling and installing on SCO XENIX? If so, where can I
Look for it?
Can SCO people throw some light on it?

I have TeX and LaTeX running under Xenix 2.3.2. Bibtex and another
auxiliary program whose name escapes me at the moment still seem to
want to dump core on startup, but everything else seems to work just
fine. As soon as time permits (within a few weeks, since I may be
away from the Xenix machine for a while) I will be posting a summary
to the net. The sources are all public domain and are available in
many places. (I got mine locally).

If anyone has a specific question feel free to write me directly at
the below address.
