I am trying to download softfonts to a HP LaserJet II printer. Some fonts work fine, but some of them have letters which are messed up. The letters show up as a box with scattered dots within it. The fonts are not corrupted, because I copied them back to DOS and they worked fine. I tried downloading them by 'cat'ing directly to the printer and by using lp. I tried all sorts of stty settings. Some of them were plain 'raw', '-opost ixon ixoff cs8 -parenb -parodd'. The printer is running parallel and I have tried it serially also with the same results. The results are consistent in that it's always the same letters in the same fonts that get corrupted. The xenix version is xenix 386 2.3.2. Any help would be appreciated.
