I am looking for an executable xenix 286 version of perl 3.0. It is my impression that a 286 system cannot compile this due to the table limits of yac, but that a 386 version (with perl patch _six_) could generate a 286 compatible version. Is there someone that could help me with a tar diskette? or a uucp connection. John Watson ...!rutgers!carssdf!usenet

While this is all true, a better approach is to have a friend run Yacc and then compile his yacc output on your machine. Thus you have sources, so you can fix bugs and apply (some) patches. -- You may redistribute this article only to those who may freely do likewise.
