We are running SCO Xenix 2.2.3 on the 286. We need to use an Adaptec SCSI Controller on our system and have been unable to use get the system to boot when the controller is installed. Since the 'scsi' driver appeared in the master file we assumed that the driver would work. After a number of attempts to fix it I gave SCO tech support a call and they replied that the 'scsi' driver is not supported on the 286 2.2.3. Has anyone been able to get it to work or found another scsi driver that can be used or is aware of some other solution? Please do not respond by saying "you'll have to upgrade to a 386 or get version 2.3.2". That is not at all helpful. thanks Doug Toppin uunet!melpar!toppin
