[comp.unix.xenix] Where is alphacm?

jamesd@qiclab.UUCP (James Deibele) (11/01/89)

Does anyone have the new number for alphacm, Sandy Zelkovitch's (XBBS author)
home system? Both the NIXPUB list and uuhosts list the old, disconnected
number. Thanks!

I have posted the corrected telephone numbers MANY times within the
pubnet groups; however, whoever keeps track of the postings does not seem
to read what is posted! After many tries, I just gave up!

The proper telephone numbers for alphacm are:

        (data) 714-821-9671 (voice) 714-821-9670

If past performance is any guide, this information will not be used to update
the NIXPUB list.

Sandy

If anyone else has any updated information for the nixpub list (updates or
new open/public access unix sites), please send email to phile@lgnp1.ls.com
(..uunet!lgnp1!phile).

Updated (and new) uucp host information should be sent to uucpmap@rutgers.edu.

Here is the PEP number direct from my /usr/lib/uucp/Systems file:

Thanks, but I asked that question several months ago. (September maybe,
definitely by sometime in October). I got several responses at the time,
and I hope to be soon running XBBS.

I'm a neophyte at news, but it would seem like you might want to check your
news feed and see what else they might be sending you that's old. Kind of like
stepping into a time warp.

Maybe this happened because I started rereading _Neuromancer_ tonight?

Thanks again.
