Does anyone have the new number for alphacm, Sandy Zelkovitch's (XBBS author) home system? Both the NIXPUB list and uuhosts list the old, disconnected number. After many tries, I just gave up! The proper telephone numbers for alphacm are: (data) 714-821-9671 (voice) 714-821-9670 If past performance is any guide, this information will not be used to update the NIXPUB list. (September maybe, definitely by sometime in October). I got several responses at the time, and I hope to be soon running XBBS. I'm a neophyte at news, but it would seem like you might want to check your news feed and see what else they might be sending you that's old. Kind of like stepping into a time warp. Maybe this happened because I started rereading _Neuromancer_ tonight?
