[comp.unix.xenix] Smart Mailer For Xenix

vortex@cs.mu.oz.au (Mark Gregson) (01/01/90)

	Hi there,
Can anyone out there possibly suggest a good
smart mailer package to replace the totally dumb
mailer on my Xenix 386 system??

If anyone can let me know a good one and where
I might get it I'd appreciate it.

	Regards, Mark Gregson

I'm running smail 2.5. I just put it in as smail and rmail, which
breaks the xenixnet stuff but works fine with uucp. I alkso run uucp
over ethernet (Excelan). If you want micnet to run there are patches,
but all I wanted was uucp, and that works fine.

I also have an SMTP system, but it is rarely used.

How about SENDMAIL 5.61 + IDA 1.2.8 for Xenix? I can make it available for
anonymous FTP via uafcseg.uark.edu (130.184.64.202) if anyone is interested.

P.S. - I got a few requests for this a couple of months ago, but no-one ever
followed up on it after the initial contact.
