Does anyone have a replacement floppy disk driver set for SCO XENIX? The current (I have 2.3.2) '386 ones are terribly slow. Zzzz. Waiting for Custom to finish unpacking is a good way to cure insomnia. Hmm, for that matter, so is dd or tar to a QIC-02 tape drive. No, no special drivers there--just mkdev tape for a Mountain DC600 system. Also, looking for a "Carbon Copy" or "Remote" like program for XENIX--y'know, like under DOS, so I can "eavesdrop" on what another user is doing, teach, etc. Tremendously useful on DOS & the Mac. In fact, CCI just added "Takeover" to their Concurrent DOS to do the same--standard equipment. The (extremely knowledgeable) SCO tech I talked to didn't know of one, and wished for it. Both these came up doing a hard-disk data recovery for a XENIX system (yes, we occasionally do those--thanks to the many people who supplied moral and tech support for their suggestions)--successful, more's the amazement. And I thought DOS drive-recoveries were bad... Summarize? Sure, I'll summarize if I get several responses. Otherwise, I'll just make sure to stay tuned to this modem. Alex
