I'm trying to configure an ORACLE database server (I think that's what I want to call it) for a friend. It must PS/2 machine, M70 or M80 (His call, not mine 8-{). He needs access for 4 to 5 users, COLOR, and 2 printers. My initial reply was to go with the M70, the MCA version of SCO's Xenix, lots of RAM (16M), and a big disk. Get a multiport card, 3 color terminals and a PS/2 M50 or such for PC stuff. I think that I have enough ports left for a laser printer and a 132 column dot matrix. Have I made any serious gaffs? Do I have enough slots for ALL this? Should I be using the M80 instead? I haven't mentioned a backup device, because I'm clueless about what is out there. Any other ideas as to how I could configure this system? He doesn't plan to be talking to any other machines, so I didn't look into Ethernet between the server and the PC ($$$). Thanks in advance, aj jackson@udel.edu
