A friend of mine has a IBM-compatible 286 system running Xenix from SCO. He uses it to run a small construction company. The person who set up the system for him used an accounting software call Xinca and he trained his one lady at the office to run it (he did not give him any manuals and he skipped town after he setup the system). Now, about two years later, all the accounting, payroll, etc. information is on the system in Xinca format. The lady who knows how to run the system quit and moved out of state and the new lady does not know how to run it. I have tried to run down the origin of the software but could not get anywhere (not mention of it in Data Sources books). Does anybody know how to get manuals for XINCA? Has anyone ever heard of it? IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that the information be retrieved in the next two weeks for tax purposes (W-4 forms). I was going to go spend few hours (perhaps days) to find out how to retrieve the information but if we can get the manuals that will be very very very helpful !!!!!!!!! If you know anything about that software, please mail me as soon as possible.
