[comp.unix.xenix] Xenix 86 Dev System

bruno@sdcc10.ucsd.edu (Bruce W. Mohler) (02/02/90)

I have a friend who has an XT. He's just acquired
a copy of SCO Xenix 86 (its was purchased by the company
he works for but is no longer used (they have 3B15's)).

He's asking for a miracle. He's trying to find a copy
of the Development System for Xenix 86. SCO no longer
sells this item.

Can anyone help?

Thanks, in advance!

I don't know if it'll work, but Xenix/286 2.1 DEV reports

/bin/cc:	8086 separate executable

XENIX 286 will not install on the 8086. Backwards compatibility can
only be taken so far.
