I have a friend without net access who works in a school system. He is aware of various educational software packages that run under DOS or on the Apple/Mac systems but would be interested in educational packages that might be available under some flavor of UNIX. His reasoning is it would be more cost effective over the long run to have a multi-user, and eventually networked, system running one software package than a lot of different boxes running multiple copies of the same software package(s). Any information you could provide would be quite helpful. I will be glad to summarize. Thanks in advance. -- Ed Tankus.
