I am running SCO Xenix/386 2.3.2 with HDB uucp. Whenever uusched is run and runs uucico I get a core dump in the /usr/spool/uucp directory. I can run uucico or run uusched with out running uucico and I don't get the dump. I only get the dump after uucico exits back to uusched. I checked the permissions and ownership of all the files in /usr/lib/uucp and /usr/spool/uucp and everything looks right with the owner being uucp. Everything appears to be ok, I just get the core dump file out there. I have tried re-installing, but I still get the dump. I also made sure that uusched is run under the uucp account. Anybody else have this problem? Any suggestions? Like I said everything appears to be working (i.e. news and mail transfer fine), I just get this core file hanging out there. Thanks for any help. -- +--------[ Paul Martin at P.S.M. The problem was corrected when I installed the update disk from 2.3.2 to 2.3.3 ('386). I would suggest getting a copy of the 2.3.3 update disk from SCO. -- Larry Snyder, Northern Star Communications, Notre Dame, IN USA uucp: larry@nstar -or- ...!iuvax!ndmath!nstar!larry 4 inbound dialup high speed line public access system

Send yer complaint to SCO and they will mail you the 2.3.1 uusched which doesn't do this. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Neal Rhodes MNOP Ltd (404)- 972-5430 President Lilburn (atlanta) GA 30247 Fax: 978-4741 uunet!emory!jdyx!mnopltd!neal Or uunet!gatech!stiatl!mnopltd!neal ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
