[comp.unix.xenix] Adding IBM 3.5 drive to Xenix 286 2.2.1

deano@rpp386.cactus.org (Dean Carpenter) (02/15/90)

I hope someone can help me ... I just inherited an IBM 3.5 720K drive
for my AT running Xenix 286 2.2.1. Unfortunately, I've lent my manuals
out and can't get them back till next week sometime.

The drive has an interface card with it - a plug in the back for the
cable from the drive, and a socket and cable on the card for connecting
it to the floppy/hard controller. That is, one unplugs the fd0 cable
from the controller and plugs it into the interface card. Then there is
a short cable from the interface card to the fd0 position on the
floppy/hard controller.

It works fine under DOS and OS/2, but it had drivers for use with them.
How can I get this beast up and running under Xenix ? I can't RTFM as
I don't have them right now (and won't for a week - urg). Help ?
