I'd appreciate hearing from anyone out their who is running the Adaptec 1540a host adapter and CDC/Imprimis SCSI Hard Disks under SCO Xenix 386 2.3.3 GT. I only recently aquired the drive and have questions as to how to properly configure the drive, host adapter and Operating System for optimum performance. The system is a 386 25 Mhz. with 4 Mb. RAM, no cache. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Noel -- Noel B. Enable the read ahead on the drive. As far as using CDC drives goes, I have 5 drives on adaptex. Three of them are CDC drives of various capacities. They have worked flawlessly since they have been installed (since 4/89).
