One of the problems we have with using a mouse on Xenix is that you have to run a second serial ine to the terminal. In fact most of our lines go to PCs that emulate the SCO console (thanks to the TERM program). These PCs already have a mouse attached to them. Is there any way that a mouse attached to a PC can be made to work with SCO Xenix (or Unix). This would save running a serial line and allow the PCs to use the equipment they already have. Any ideas would be appreciated. I will summarize any proposed solutions. A second prossibility is with PCs connected through telnet (FTP's). Since you can open several sessions on the same PC can one of those connections be the mouse? In short, could you use a mouse connected to a PC that is connected via telnet (tnglass from FTP)? Thanks for ANY help or ideas. Mark Citron citron@csvax.caltech.edu citron@cit-vax.caltech.UUCP
