[comp.unix.xenix] TRAP ????

root@ozdaltx.UUCP (root) (02/20/90)

My documentation is rather vague about TRAPS and system shutdowns.
Can anyone help me decypher the following I found on my screen a
little bit ago? We're running SCO XENIX 2.2.3 (286).

TRAP 000D IN SYSTEM
ax=0110, bx=D2AF, cx=0000, dx=0000, si=BB28, di=0000
bp=0144, fl=0283, uds=0018, es=0198
pc=0038:004B, ksp=0124
Panic: General protection trap
TRAP 000C IN SYSTEM
ax=0030, bx=39B0, cx=0011, dx=0000, si=39B0, di=0011
bp=003C, fl=0A13, uds=0018, es=0210
pc=0040:B2EE, ksp=03F2, ss:sp=0068:0020
panic: stack fault

I had tried to soft reset the system and kept getting,
301: Keyboard error. Finially I turned it off then back on and
it went through the normal fsck cleaning.

Can "brown outs" cause this? or power line spikes?
Thanks in advance....
Scotty
