[comp.unix.xenix] Editor - simple wanted

I'm looking for a very simple editor for BBS use.  It should
look and act like the editor used on the common DOS BBSes.
The reasoning is most callers are not going to take time to learn vi
or ed.  Nor should they have to.   I wrote one a few years ago,
and have been using it since, but it has certain limitations
that I don't feel like trying to get around.

Features desired:
    line numbering
    easy line editing
    read in an external file
    user friendly

This will run on SCO Xenix, Ver 2.2.3 (286)
