[comp.unix.xenix] Fusion Network under Xenix?

wcurtiss@x102c.harris-atd.com (Curtiss WC 67625) (02/27/90)

We have recently installed Fusion's networking software for the 3COM 505,
version 3.2, under SCO Xenix, version 2.3.2 on a Compaq 386/20e. It works.

We then tried to install the same software under the same operating system
on a GRiD 1535 EXP with either internal harddisk or SCSI harddisk.
It doesn't work. It looks like the software can't find the card. Test
software which runs under DOS finds the card and reports that everything
works ok. Any ideas? We have tried numerous combinations of interrupts and
I/O addresses to no avail.

For all the laptop people: Has anyone had problems with device contention
in a GRiD? With certain cards installed, the floppy will hangup after a while.
