Has anybody gotten the accounting and/or profiler set up on SCO Unix 3.2? I got their unix with Open DeskTop. The documentation isn't nearly as good as the Xenix 2.3.2 docs. There are no man pages (all online). I couldn't find anything about the system profiler or accounting. Nothing in the index (which is rather sparse). The online man page for the profiler is useless. The accounting system is fairly complex, with many interacting parts. Trying to set it up from the online man pages is very frustrating, even if you print them out. Open DeskTop seems to be basically a good product, with lots of value. I can't understand why they skimped on the documentation. I got more docs with my Xenix 2.3.2 and ODT is 4 to 5 times as complex. They could have at least put in a set of sample cron and init files. Well, enough of my rage - Can anyone show me some cron entries to get it started? -- I turn my system off every night and start it about 7a.m. - sometimes I turn it off and on during the day also. What is the documentation for straight SCO Unix 3.2 like? Do they use loose leaf binders like Xenix or do they have bound paperbacks like ODT Thank you Richard
