[comp.unix.xenix] SCO XENIX UUCP DIRECT

emuleomo@paul.rutgers.edu (Emuleomo) (03/20/90)

If you had two 386 machines loaded with SCO XENIX 3.2, how would you set
them up so that you can do UUCP between these 2 machines WITHOUT USING A MODEM!
Is this possible? or will I have to use a Null modem?
Can I do cu from machine A to machine B?

E-mail will be appreciated!

Thanx

Sorry virginia; you will have to resort to the Dreaded Null Modem. Otherwise
you in good shape. It is easier if one system always polls the other. You
want to put a DIR device in DEVICES and use it. Have fun. You *might* have
some speed problems, so experiment with 9600, 4800, etc.
