[comp.unix.xenix] several things

Hi, I'm using xenix version 2.2.something on a tandy 4000 with EGA but
monochrome monitor. I've several questions:

1)	I just got the update for the latest version of SCO Professional. It
has some nice improvements (I especially like being able to print right from
the graph command instead of having to leave the program) but it's still not
quite perfect: Lotus 123 under VP/IX is still faster (no, I don't have a
numeric coprocessor... but lotus can do without one).
Anyway, when I try to view graphs on the console through 'ibmcons' all
the screen does is go blank. If I do it in text mode, the tty driver gets
very confused and goes into some weird mode where '\n's seem to advance the
cursor 20 spaces instead of going to the next line. This mode remains even
when going to different screens (via alt keys). Does anyone know what's going
on here?

1.5)	Is there herculese support for SCO Professional?

2)	Is there a fix for VP/IX so that it will properly use two floppy
drives?

3)	I've heard that there's a version of the serial port chips which are
buffered and allow the com ports to run much faster. How do you tell the tty
driver to use this feature of the serial chip?

4)	I have a version of the OS that has the broken printer driver.
Currently I'm using my own device driver but I'd like to get the official fix
for this. Is there a place on internet from which I can get this? Also, is
this fixed in the latest version of xenix (2.3 I think?)?

5)	What other improvements have been made to between 2.2 and 2.3 of
xenix? Is the update free or what? Unfortunately I got xenix through radio
shack and I havn't yet talked very much to them (I tend to fix problems
myself before attempting to talk to customer support).

6)	I use the radio shack DT100 in IBM emulation mode when in VP/IX. Is
there a way of setting up the tty driver to use the terminal in this mode all
the time (so the terminal is equivelent to the console)?

Thanks. I'll post a summary if I get a lot of responses.
