Try as I might, I can't figure out how to get ECU 2.08 working correctly with termcap on my system. First, it insists upon finding a Slibcurses.a library either in /lib/386 or /usr/lib... there ain't no such thing on >this< Xenix machine, and I just checked both the 2.2 and the 2.3 Development System distribution disks to make sure they weren't there. I managed to get it up for some limited messing about with it by adding a link to /lib/386/Slibtermlib.a file, but this clearly is not the solution. What I've seen so far of the program, though, makes me hunger to get it working correctly!! This is really a slick bit of work, and Warren deserves kudos and thanks for making it available. That question which was asked way back at the beginning: do you want termcap, terminfo or neither curses to be the default is the source of my problem. libtcap.a,libtermlib.a are BSD curses/termcap libtinfo.a is Sys V curses/terminfo curses.a shows up as a link (I think) or some such if you choose a default. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Warren Tucker, TuckerWare gatech!n4hgf!wht or wht%n4hgf@gatech.edu He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance. -- U.
