:ELM calls rmail ( I have no sendmail or recmail):

[tmp file deleted]

:I have also installed EXECLAN LAN WORKPLACE with smtp. This has a special

:When I specifie rmail.true, elm works well on my local mashine. To other

I wish people would read the README file.
Its on the first page of it even....

On SCO Xenix, with a straight unmodifed mail system,
the mailer for Elm is /usr/lib/mail/execmail. (Unless
you have bagged the entire SCO mailer system like most of us :-) )

Excelan LAN Workplace even replaces execmail, but the new executable
also works properly for local mail.
Excelan LAN Workplace SMTP does not work well for the environment
Elm expects. It does the headers
all wrong for all but local domains. I suggest if you need DNS
type smtp, you go after sendmail or smail 3.1.
