Just saw a demo of AIX. One of the more interesting features was the dynamic allocation of inodes. Supposedly the system "dispenses" inodes as needed and there is no limit(?). Wonder if SCO has something like this in the works? The IBM rep went on to say that the source code of AIX was available (for a fee) so will we see someone port this over to non-IBM Intel (or whatever) platforms? Mel Shear !rex!fleet!mel
