We discovered very similar effects here with different Versions of MS-Windows. We tried 1.03, 2.0 and 2.3 (or was it 2.03 ? I don't remember). May be of interest here : We have used SCO Xenix 2.3.2 with VP/ix 1.0. Further inspection of the problem leads to the interupt and event handling routines used for the serial MS-mouse driver, since MS-Windows works well, if you are only using the keyboard. But unfortunately we are unable to solve the problem, also we have obtained the windows device driver development kit from Microsoft and have tried to rewrite the serial mouse driver. So after all it seems to be a VP/ix-Bug and we are very "satisfied" :-( about fact, that our customers have to use two mice : A bus-mouse (MS-Windows works very well with that kind of mouse under VP/ix) and a serial mouse (indeed a digitizer) for our own CAD-like applications running under Xenix. As far as I know, nobody has solved this problem yet. If there is ANYONE out there, who has successfully installed any version of MS-Windows under VP/ix (not Merge/386) running under SCO XENIX (not UNIX), I would really like to know about.
