[comp.unix.xenix] writing standalone programs for Xenix

The other day i was talking to a friend, and we got to wondering how to 
write a standalone program for Xenix 286 and 386 that will run from the
boot prompt. Has anyone done this? Care to share your thoughts, or code
even.
