[comp.unix.xenix] Xenix 2.3.2 man pages and Text Package

serling@ucscb.ucsc.edu (Rich Wilkman) (08/14/90)

With SCO Xenix, the online manual comes on its own release disks.
There is also stuff for the on-line manual in the text processing
package that is also put out. The trick is that in the text
processing package are the macros used to format the manual pages
(for both catman and general use).

I have not been able to use the manual pages without the files in
the text processing package. Kinda interesting marketing, huh?

These are my opinions. If they are shared by the University of
California, or by Computing and Telecommunications Services (CATS),
then they are wrong and I shall have to form new ones.

I'm not a SCO employee, but I play one on TV.
