[comp.misc] Guide to a GOOD User manual

aniekan@wasat.usc.edu.UUCP (05/29/87)

Has anyone read any good books lately? That is, any good user manual for
the following programming languages, that you would recommend:

For C /* Kernighan and Pike is (in my opinion)
not written at a basic enough level */

	For Pascal
	For Prolog
	For Lisp
	For Fortran
	and possibly LaTeX

By GOOD manuals I mean that it should be easy-to-read and technically sound.
User-friendly User Manuals and books.

thanks,
Aniekan.
