I recently saw a show on PBS about entrepreneurs. The first segment was about Steven Jobs and his new company NEXT Computers. During the fall of '85, they (Jobs and his company) were planning the development of the next generation of pc's - a high power machine targeted for use in a university research environment, selling for about $3k. The plan was to have this product to market in spring '87. I believe this show was a repeat and no follow-up was presented. Does any one have any info on NEXT Computers? no one will admit it, but I get the feeling that they're trying to make a high-end pc to compete in the workstation market at CMU. (no, this doesn't have anything to do with my bloody nondisclosure agreement, because I didn't hear it from you)
