At work we are running Zeus 3.2 on a System 8000 and HP-UX on an HP9000. I have tried to get the uucp's to talk but there seems to be a problem. uucp -r1 -shp -x5 claims that the login was completed but there doesn't seem to be anyway to see debug information AT THE CALLED machine. Note that the Zeus is a system 3 derivative (I think). Does anyone know how to get debug info AFTER connection ? Does anyone have any experience on the Zeus side that might be able to shed some light on my darkness ? If e-mail fails (when?) please write or call 3906 Calle Tereon Las Vegas Nevada 89103 (702) 367-3247 gracias in advance

Sure yes, known bugs to me are: 1. you can't have connection to two systems if their names are leading subset of eachother. ( kpi / kpit in our case ) - I have a binary patch which take care of this one. 2. The ' -Q%d ' in the response isn't printed with the value of the debug variable, but this little trick could help you: uucico -shp '-x6 -Q6' -r1. 3. The Setline procedure has a saved TCGETA status variable which isn't declared static. this gives almost allways problems when logging off the other system, - I have a binary patch for this one comming up. -- Poul-Henning Kamp Phone: +45(0)1322085x524 phk@kpd.DK Kuwait Petroleum (Denmark) Private: +45(0)3531224 ..!mcvax!diku!kpd!phk
