A co-worker of mine develops software for various firms and one of his
clients specifies that all disks submitted by him must be copy protected.
He has been sending these disks to another firm to do the copy protecting
for him, but it is rather expensive. He wants to know if there is a copy
protection program that runs on IBM PCs that he can purchase to do this
job himself. I don't know, so I told him I'd ask around for him. If anyone
out there knows of such software, please send me a response via e-mail as
I don't subscribe to these newsgroups. Thanx in advance for any replies I
may receive.

I would suggest that your friend not compromise his programming by putting in other peoples code. Copy protection hurts the user (I have been burned by Legal copies of dBASE and VersaCad) and also adds additional costs to programs. I do not condone software piracy and I also do not condone not allowing a user to back up their software! Bill Wilson
