lpress@venera.isi.edu (Laurence I. Press) (02/27/88)

Would anyone be interested in starting up a list or news group
on the history of computing?

Sounds very interesting! I am interested in particiapting in a
mailing list. How about starting up a vote for a news group?

*Don't* *Even* *Think* *It*. news.groups is already flooded with requests
to start up unnecessary news groups. *If* a mailing list happens, and *if*
it demonstrates a *major* interest, *then* think about news groups.

(If the above note was intended as a joke, forgive me. Things are getting
really out of hand in news.groups, and I'm a little touchy on the subject).
