As part of a project I am currently working on, I plan to modify VN to add the following features: 1. Users will be able to specify that articles be listed chronologically, reverse chronologically, by author, by subject or by keyword. The keyword access will be across news groups. 2. Articles will be displayed using the program called 'less' (an extended version of 'more'). 3. Article marking will be allowed over screens. 4. Users may specify that they do not see articles based on author, subject, date or keyword. 5. Users may hop to new articles by specifying author, subject or keyword without going through the listing pages. 6. If possible, I would like E-mail to be read like a news group, with all the same conveniences. If anyone has any other features they always wanted to see in a news program, please let me know by E-mail. In this situation, features and overall ease of use are more important than speed.
