When we first found out about JJ's postings (you can stop the mail now), we contacted the U. S. Postal Inspector in Omaha, Nebraska (Lincoln is not large enough to merit an inspector of their very own). We read him the posting over the phone and asked him what we could do. According to him, there was no mail fraud involved, since he was not making verifiable claims or promises. Usually, mail fraud involves selling something that does not meet expectations, like swampland in Florida, instant weight reduction programs, and so on. JJ's articles unfortunately don't fall into any of these categories. You are welcome to investigate yourself, however. As for the statement that Portal may be involved, that seems a little far fetched. How much money do you think he will net? Five, maybe ten dollars. Considering the time it has taken us to clean up this mess, that doesn't seem like a very profitable venture. Finally, if you really want to get a handle on what happened, we suggest you contact JJ directly. His real name is Rob Noha, and he can be reached at 402/488-2586. I am sure that there are many facts that can only be answered by him. Sending mail to him won't work, since he can no longer log in. P.S. JJ has 244 letters in his mail box now (a new flame record?). I don't suppose that many of these are letters of encouragment.
