I have a couple of disk drives that squeal from the static brush problem (I am assuming). But I'm a software type, and don't know what is needed to get into the drive to fix this problem.. Do I need a clean-room or anything ?? I opened up an old 5mb profile disk (from my old Lisa) but didn't intend to put it back together, just dissection. Are there any places in the Valley (Silicon) that will fix this problem for me, cheap ?? Also fix head crash problems on drives ? The noise drove me so batty that I finally setup my system, an Amiga, in my clothes closet. This let me work on it remote, with the closet door closed. -Jim Becker
